The seminar Good Scientific Practice is addressed to all PhD students of the QMA in Würzburg and will be held by Dr. Schröder-Köhne.

The cluster of excellence ct.qmat is the only Cluster that traverses federal state boundaries and – through the close partnership with non-university institutes – a prime example of the local research alliance DRESDEN-concept. DRESDEN-concept celebrates its 10th anniversary with a science exhibition.

Dresden is one of the most important scientific research sites in Germany. With the SHOWCASES OF RESEARCH, the Technischen Sammlungen opens a new space where visitors can experience future topics. To this end, interactive exhibits have been set up together with scientists.

We would like to invite you to our very first Grete Hermann Network (GHN) Meeting!

The online meeting is addressed to female early career researchers and junior research group leaders of selected DFG coordinated programmes at
TU Dresden.

The lecture will give an introduction to the field, primarily from a theoretical and conceptual perspective. It will cover general ideas, concrete models for frustrated magnets, theoretical methods such as spin-wave theory, parton constructions, and gauge fields, as well as advanced topics. Relevant experimental observations will be discussed as well.
